A lot of people say I have it backward. I never wanted to ride a bike then about 6 months ago I got this real intense desire to ride, look at bikes, surf the net to look at bikes, read about bikes, etc. Believe it or not the Savage is the bike I looked at on the Suzuki WEB page when I FIRST started surfing. Funny that without really trying it's the bike I ended up on. Makes me really think destiny has some merit.
Anyway, people say I'm odd because I'm 29 years old and just had my first kid (she's 1 now). You can think the obvious - that I started riding because I felt "tied down" with my first child, but I don't think so. I love me life and my kid - I also just really love to ride. Ever since I got my bike I look at roadmaps to find really good curvy roads, still surf the net to find out more info, and have tried to do all my own repairs. Guess I'm a late bloomer but who cares!
And just in case - I tripled my life insurance the day I bought my bike. Someday I may even tell my wife I did that!
